"My roots tingle and I'm ready to mingle" said Mr Turnip as he packed his suitcase. Mr Turnips train journey was going to be a long one but he was so excited to be going to a real castle!
In an exclusive never before seen public show are original artworks, games, toys and puppets, including a scale model replica of Mr Turnip himself! They will be on display at Colchester Castle from 29th March to 30th June, celebrating local puppet pioneer Joy Laurey across what would have been her 100th Birthday in April.
These items form part of a larger exhibition 'Thunderbirds and Co.' celebrating the legacy of world renowned puppeteers Sylvia and Gerry Anderson. It showcases puppets from Thunderbirds, Stingray as well as many other props and scale models.
A great experience for all the family. Sci-Fi, puppetry and T.V nostalgia set within beautiful Colchester Castle and gardens.
This event will be supporting the Headway charity.
